Orange and Ericsson will develop for the Pereira Group a logistics management system that uses 5G communications for food transport vehicles that guarantee delivery times and collection dates with strict time limits and environmental conditions, ensuring that products maintain their quality .

The 5G network will allow to support this type of communication very efficiently, reducing the network resources associated with connecting a large number of monitoring devices. It also allows the devices to have a lower energy consumption, reducing the cost of installation and maintenance.
